Every story on the AI Value Index carries an evidence grade from 1 to 5: how well the outcome it reports is proven. Case Studies are graded on one specific deployment. Signals and Use Cases use the same 1 to 5 scale. A survey answer, a forecast or a count of announced projects is not a measured outcome, so it sits at grade 1 until results are measured. No vendor-only source sits above grade 3. A 4 or 5 needs a source independent of the AI's seller. Geography does not change the grade.
